近日，施耐德电气中国自动化研发中心在无锡正式揭幕。这是继在上海、深圳、西安、北京等地设立研发中心后，施耐德电气在华设立的第五大研发中心。无锡研发中心将聚焦下一代核心工业自动化产品的开发，建立软硬件一体化的创新体系，并在未来注入包括能源管理自动化在内的更多业务。
目前，研发中心正打造全球领先测试水平的实验室，并于今年6月份正式投入使用。研发中心首批将有40名研发工程师进驻，到年底达到100人，随着能源管理自动化业务的注入，未来还将部署更多人才资源。

近段时间，施耐德电气在中国接连落地多个重要投资项目。施耐德电气高级副总裁、工业自动化中国研发中心负责人胡晓表示，中国已成为施耐德电气全球第二大市场、最大的供应链基地以及全球四大研发基地之一，更是重要的创新策源地。近几个月，施耐德电气接连在中国落地重大投资项目，表明公司对中国经济持续看好，将坚定扎根中国。
